Summer Salads
Course Details
Our Summer Salads class will make the most of all the fantastic fresh produce on offer this time of year.
On this half-day course you will make a selection of salads that will compliment each other. Some will be raw salads, others cooked. We will work with grains, pulses and lots of fresh vegetables from our local suppliers Eades and Castle Farm.
Expect to make salads such as:
- Tomato Panzanella
- Summer Greens Salad
- Chickpea, French Bean, Sesame and Tofu Salad
- Coriander, Mint & Melon Salad
- Japanese Buddha Bowl
The course involves a mixture of demonstrations and hands-on cookery.
You will learn knife skills and techniques which will save time and improve your kitchen skills and cook a variety of delicious, quick dishes.
We will share lunch with everything we have made at the end of the workshop. Please bring a plastic container if you wish to take some of your food home with you. You will receive a recipe pack at the end of the day so that you can recreate the dishes at home.
