Cooking with Asparagus
Course Details
Asparagus is one of our favourite seasonal ingredients and signals that summer is on its way. The season officially lasts just 8 weeks, from 23rdApril until Midsummers Day in June. Join us on this evening course to make the most of the short season.
We will learn how best to prepare and cook asparagus in different ways and showcase it with dishes such as:
- Fatayer Pastries with Asparagus and Broad Beans
- Tempura Asparagus with Aioli
- Potato Pea and Asparagus salad with Salsa Verde
- Italian Salad with Chargrilled Asparagus and Toasted Almonds
The evening is a combination of demonstration and hands on participation. Our fabulous chefs will guide you through the recipes and be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
The course ends with a sit down meal around our dining table to enjoy the food made. Please bring a plastic container if you wish to take some of your food home with you. You will leave with a full recipe pack so you can recreate the dishes at home.
