Demuths 5 Day Vegan certificate cookery course is suitable for those just beginning a vegan diet and for those who want to expand their vegan repertoire and immerse themselves in an informative week long cooking experience.
Our 5 day vegan cookery course will set you up with the fundamentals of vegan cooking, covering basic nutritional information, how to use nuts, seeds, grains and pulses. Cooking techniques for simple sauces, soups and rice dishes. Learn how to bake successful breads, cakes and desserts.

All of our dishes are made from the best of what’s in season, be they our own garden produce, wild food or vegetables from one of our fantastic suppliers, Eades and Castle Farm Organics.
The course is limited to 8 people. The class size is kept small to maximize your personal interaction with the tutor and to ensure you have as much hands on experience as possible.
On each day you will prepare and cook 6 to 8 recipes depending on the complexity of the day.
The course will be hands-on cookery working in pairs, with skills demonstrations, and is led by our experienced chef tutors who can answer all of your cooking questions.
We will also focus on chefs tips to save time and increase your confidence in the kitchen.
Each day we will gather to eat some of what you make for lunch - and you're invited take home the rest.
You will receive a Demuths Certificate in Vegan Cooking on successfully completing the course and a comprehensive set of recipes.
This 5 day introductory course in vegan cooking will set you up to continue with the Demuths Vegan Diploma.
