You will learn a complete range of essential baking skills so you can carry on baking at home.
One of the best things about doing your own baking is that you can be inventive, you can create your own flavours and adapt ingredients to suit you. Learn with us how to use a variety of ingredients and flavours, including almonds, yoghurt, spices, vanilla and chocolate.
Learn how to adapt recipes using only plant based ingredients, what sugars to use and how to use sugar alternatives for healthier guilt free treats and learn to use a range of flours including spelt and rye.
Learn our enriching techniques for making fluffy sweet cinnamon swirls, light sugared donuts, moist almond financiers, plus the perfect shortcrust pastry and how to form a beautiful patisserie tartlet.
We will cover a range of breads, from classic Italian breads to artisan sourdough, showing you how to make your own sourdough starter culture, and how easy it is to make fresh bread any time you want.

We will use a range of ingredients and offer variations. We will be baking with wheat, so this course is not suitable for those who are wheat free or gluten free.
