Christmas is a time when food becomes the focal point of life and a lot of the traditional foods that are on offer are gluten and wheat based such as Christmas cake, mince pies and wonderful stuffings to go with the main Christmas meal. This can be daunting if you can't or don't want to eat wheat and gluten foods.
This course will allow you to eat everything that epitomises Christmas, only without the gluten. All the recipes will be vegan.
On the day we will cook for all types of events that will be occurring over the festive period from pre dinner appetisers to a wonderfully healthy and delicious Christmas cake not to mention a fabulous stuffing to go with the main meal.

There will lots of tasting and a Christmas lunch with the dishes you have made. There will be sweet goodies to take home too along with recipes and gluten free ingredient glossary so that you can recreate everything at home.
This course is taught by expert gluten-free baker Colette Woods. She ran her own bakery in Somerset called Fliip gluten free which makes delicious savoury tarts that are sold in many health food shops and delis in the south west of England. She is an experienced chef and cooked for Peter Gabriel at Real World Studios. Colette became intolerant to wheat and found that by cutting wheat out of her diet, it greatly improved her health.
