This evening class will show the secrets of how to recreate authentic easy to make Chinese dishes at home. 

Course Details

We will show you how to prepare traditional Chinese dishes, with natural flavourings. How to use Bamboo Shoots, Water Chestnuts and Tofu. What are the essential Chinese store cupboard ingredients and where to buy them. 

We will all prepare a delicious supper of dishes such as:

Shitake Wontons

Chow Mein 

Sweet Spicy Aubergine

Black Bean Tofu with Peppers

Fried Rice

Szechuan Greens with garlic

The evening will be a combination of demonstrations and hands-on cookery. The evening will finish with supper which you will have created, all served with organic wines or juices. You will be given a pack of recipes so that you can recreate the dishes at home.

Time: 6.30pm - 9.00pm

    Lydia is one of our lead tutors and specialises in World cooking.

    Lydia comes from a food loving family and learnt to cook from an early age with her Chinese mother. She has spent all her working life involved with food.  Lydia is an excellent teacher, with a wealth of knowledge and creativity to impart alongside a warm personality.
