Spend an evening learning to cook the best vegetarian tapas from the south of Spain. With its Moorish influence and abundant natural produce Andalucían cuisine is some of the most delicious in Europe. 

Course Details

During the evening we will make a wide range of tapas, including 

  • The perfect Tortilla de Patatas
  • Pimientos del Padron
  • Garbanzos con espinacas Chickpeas with spinach
  • Empanadillas with Romesco sauce

The class is a mixture of demonstration and some hands on participation. You'll be able to sample local Manzanilla Sherry. 

During the evening you will be given tasters of the dishes made and a main meal and pudding with specially selected organic wine or fruit juice. You will be given a recipe file of all the dishes made so you can recreate them at home.

Time: 6:30 - 9:00PM

About the tutor

Helen is Demuths head tutor and has led the teaching at the school for 8 years. She was Head Chef at Demuths restaurant, a post she filled for 5 years. She is a trained chef and has trained in classical French cooking and is now an expert in Vegan cookery training, also an expert in knife skills and chefs tips. She enjoys the creativity of plant-based and vegan cooking, lifting vegetables to the central position, they deserve in our diets.
