The beautiful city of Bath

The City of Bath is widely known as one of the most beautiful cities in England and is a World Heritage Site.

Famous for its Roman baths and graceful Georgian architecture, the city known many centuries ago as Aquae Sulis is a popular destination for tourists from all over the world.

There's so much to see in our wonderful city and all in walking distance from Demuths, including the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, The Royal Crescent, Jane Austen Centre, and many museums and art galleries. Acorn Vegetarian Kitchen, formerly Demuths Restaurant, was our very own vegetarian restaurant and is now run by Richard Buckley and his team. It is just round the corner from Demuths Cookery School, open every day for lunch and dinner.

Green Rocket Cafe

Green Rocket Cafe is opposite Demuths Cookery school and the best place for a veggie breakfast, lunch and dinner, also run by a former Demuths Restaurant head chef.
