Course Details
Vegan Fast & Delicious is our most popular course, perfect for anyone new to a plant-based diet and for those who are after some new go-to recipes. Learn delicious seasonal recipes for mid-week meals that you can make quickly and easily at home. We’ll work with a range of pulses, grains and vegetables to demonstrate effortless ways to add flavour and variety to your home cooking.
On this vegan course we will show you how to work with tofu, make vegan mayonnaise, create lush vegan puddings and much more. We will also focus on essential and unusual store cupboard ingredients, how to achieve a balanced vegan diet and chefs tips to save time and increase your confidence in the kitchen.
All of our dishes are made from the best of what’s in season, be they our own garden produce, wild food or vegetables from one of our fantastic suppliers, Eades and Castle Farm.
The recipes will change with the seasons, so expect dishes such as:
- Cauliflower and Kale Fritters
- Artichoke Farinata
- Sesame Tofu Chips and Vegan Mayo
- Herby Quinoa Salad
- Stuffed Flatbreads
- Miso Glazed Aubergines with Kale and Butterbean Mash
- Sticky Toffee Pudding
- Raspberry Frangipane Muffins
The course involves a mixture of demonstrations, knife skills and hands-on cookery, and is led by our experienced chef tutors who can answer all of your quick cooking questions.
The course ends with a sit down meal around our dining table to enjoy the food made. Please bring a plastic container if you wish to take some of your food home with you. You will leave with a full recipe pack so you can recreate the dishes at home.
