Join Sundari to learn how to make Tiffin which are tasty easy to make Southern Indian snacks, rather like tapas they are great with a cool beer on a late summers evening.
In South India a tiffin is a snack between lunch and dinner. Tiffins is a term which probably has its origins in the British Raj as an Indian version of British tea and cake.
Sundari will share her family recipes and show you how to make the tiffins that she was brought up with.
We will make snacks such as:
This evening will be a mixture of demonstration and some hands on cooking with lots of tips, talking and tasting.
We will share a tiffin style meal so you can taste all of the dishes we have made, served with selected organic wines and juices. You will receive a folder of all of the recipes made so you can recreate them at home.
