Eating Indian Street food is the best way to eat in India, watching the food cooked in front of you and then eating from a cone of paper as you wander through the street market. Here in Bath we will recreate our favourites, giving you a whirlwind tour of regional Indian street food.
We will introduce you to Indian street food by making a freshly ground spice mix, demonstrate spice tempering in oil and show you how to use authentic flavours such as tamarind and Jaggery. We will make mouth-watering dishes such as:
- Squash Samosas
- Quick Dosas
- Tamarind Chutney
- Carrot and Leek Pakoras
- Aloo Chaat
This half day class will be a mixture of demonstration and some hands on cooking with lots of tips, talking and tasting. We will share a street food style meal so you can taste all of the dishes we will have made. You will receive a folder of all of the recipes made so you can recreate them at home.
